These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of poojalayamart.com (the "Site") and any order you place with Poojalaya ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Poojalaya is a devotional lifestyle brand based in Nepal, making puja essentials, dhoop, incense, and Panchagavya-based wellness products by hand from cow-derived and natural ingredients.
We describe our products as accurately as we can, but because most items are handmade from natural materials, small variations in colour, texture, and finish between what you see on the Site and what arrives are normal and not a defect.
All prices are listed in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) and may change without prior notice. Availability of any product or fragrance is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.
The Site does not process online payments. When you add items to cart or tap "Order", you are taken to WhatsApp with your order details pre-filled — your order is only confirmed once our team has verified availability, delivery details, and payment method with you directly.
We currently accept cash on delivery and bank/wallet transfer, confirmed at the time of order. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, including after initial confirmation, if details cannot be verified or an item becomes unavailable.
We offer free shipping on orders above NPR 499; a delivery charge applies below that threshold and is confirmed with you before dispatch.
Delivery timelines vary by location within Nepal and are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, incorrect address details, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
Because incense, dhoop, oils, and other ritual consumables cannot be resold once opened, we are only able to accept a return, exchange, or refund if an item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered.
Please report this within 48 hours of delivery, with photos or a short video, over WhatsApp or email. Once we've reviewed it, we'll offer a replacement, refund, or store credit, whichever fits the situation best. Items that have been opened, used, or lit cannot be accepted back for hygiene and safety reasons.
All text, photography, illustrations, the Poojalaya name, and logo on this Site belong to Poojalaya and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused commercially without our written permission.
Please use the Site and our WhatsApp, phone, and email channels lawfully and in good faith — for genuine enquiries and orders, not to send spam, harass our team, or attempt to interfere with how the Site runs.
Our products support ritual, wellness, and everyday devotional use, but they are not medical devices and we do not make medical claims. If you have a health condition, an allergy, or are pregnant, please check ingredients or consult a doctor before use.
To the extent permitted by law, Poojalaya is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or this Site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate. The latest version will always be posted on this page, and it takes effect as soon as it's published.
